Development Status Of Adult Electric Balance Scooter

As early as 1985, Professor Kazuo Yamato of Japan proposed a model of a two-wheeled electric balance car. It's just that at that time, the two-wheeled electric car model he proposed could only move in a straight line.

At the beginning of the 21st century, with the continuous research of two-wheeled electric balancing trolleys in various countries, this project has become one of the research hotspots of global robot control technology. The main ones doing well in this regard are the United States, Japan, Switzerland and France.

In 2001, Dean Kamen, a famous American scientist, invented a convenient and fast new type of transportation - two-wheeled electric balance car "Segway".

After that, the Segway was also favored by the US military, and it began to move from civilian to military use.

In 2002, Flix from the Swiss Federal University of Technology developed a two-wheeled self-balancing robot Joy that can be controlled by a remote control. Its speed can reach 1.5m/s at the fastest. With this remote control technology, remote control can be carried out in open areas, and the farthest remote control can be 50 meters.

In 2003, Anderson and others in the United States developed an extraordinary two-wheeled electric balance car, which can not only walk on flat roads, but also adapt to rugged mountain roads. This invention was rated as a quarter by NASA in May 2003. Best robot.

In 2005, Japan's Murata released the "Murata Urchin" bicycle robot, which made a qualitative leap this time. Due to its technological breakthrough, it was named one of the best inventions of the year by the American "Times" in 2006. At the same time, it has attracted great attention from all over the world. The gyroscope used in this project is Murata's ENC-03MB.

Domestic research on two-wheeled electric balancing trolleys is in its infancy, mainly including Tsinghua University, Northwestern Polytechnical University and other universities.

On September 28, 2018, Beijing will face a decision to detain the equipment and impose a fine of 200 yuan if it uses electric balance cars, scooters and other devices as means of transportation on the road.

In 2020, under the influence of the epidemic, the green and healthy "single-riding" travel mode will become popular again, and the demand for electric balance vehicles will increase. Especially in Europe, the demand for short-distance vehicles such as electric two-wheelers, electric scooters, and electric balance cars has greatly increased after the epidemic, driving the global shipments of electric balance cars. According to the "White Paper on the Development of China's Electric Balance Vehicle Industry (2021)", the global shipments of electric balance vehicles will reach 10.32 million units in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 23.7%.
